Deere & Company announced worldwide net income of $203.9 million, or $0.48 per share, for the first quarter ended January 31, compared with $369.1 million, or $0.83 per share, for the same period last year. Worldwide net sales and revenues decreased 1 percent, to $5.146 billion, for the first quarter compared with $5.201 billion a year ago. Kuhn North America, Inc., of Brodhead, Wisconsin announces an expansion to the manufacturing plant in Brodhead, as well as the opening of a new, large machine assembly facility in Monswiller, France.
