New Holland tractor owners working with variable rate planting and spraying equipment now have the convenience of using New Holland’s Precision Land Management (PLM) IntelliView™ Plus II monitors with two popular third-party variable rate controllers. The IntelliView Plus II monitors also feature a new user interface for New Holland pull-type sprayers and air carts to more easily manage and track field and production data and produce prescription maps.

Deere & Company said it plans to further expand manufacturing capacity of its large, high-horsepower tractors – adding to a project announced earlier this year for facilities in Waterloo, Iowa. Deere said the investment will help the company meet its expectations for market demand worldwide in coming years.
Deere said the new initiative will invest approximately $97 million in areas that are core to the business and offer a competitive advantage, such as the Waterloo foundry, engine, and drive train operations.

Two new Discbine® heads and a new crop merger attachment are the latest advancements to boost the productivity of New Holland’s high-capacity, self-propelled Speedrower® windrowers. At 18 ft., the 770HD header has the widest disc cut in the industry, while the 750HD specialty header is designed for the special requirements of harvesting grass seed.

Case IH is expanding its Axial-Flow® combine lineup with a new Class IX harvesting behemoth: the Case IH Axial-Flow 9120. "It's the biggest combine, with the highest horsepower in North America," says Leo Bose, Case IH combine marketing manager. With 483 rated horsepower, maximum power of 523 hp and a 350-bushel grain tank, the 9120 is for producers who demand the highest productivity in the toughest conditions.
A new lineup, new models and a refreshed look are just the beginning of the changes Case IH is announcing for its family of Axial-Flow® combines in 2009. "We were careful to preserve the superior harvesting capability of our Axial-Flow rotor while also bringing new technology and productivity into every combine class," says Leo Bose, Case IH combine marketing manager. "Our new lineup includes two models in Class VII - the brand new Axial-Flow 7088 and the upgraded 7120. We're also introducing the new Axial-Flow 9120, the company's first, and industry's largest Class IX combine."
The new Vermeer 605 and 604 Super M Series Balers (introduced recently at the Vermeer 60th Anniversary open house) are designed to help producers increase tonnage per day by simplifying the process and reducing the amount of time, steps and guesswork involved in harvesting high-density round bales.

Kuhn North America, Inc., of Brodhead, Wisconsin, introduces a new line of power harrows, the HRB 103 Series. These power harrows are designed for farming operations that require intensive annual use in moderate to heavy soils. They are designed to complement the most commonly sold tractor sizes with horsepower ratings of 60 to 160 HP. The HRB 103 power harrow series is available in working widths of 9'10", 11'6", and 13'1". These harrows perform very well for producers in crops where proper seedbed preparation is essential.
The FINAL CUT Feed Chopper, a new revolutionary bale processor attachment that helps maximize feed intake and minimize waste and spoilage while offering dairy and beef producers more freedom, more control and a versatile alternative to the hassles of large-scale contract grinding, is now available from Vermeer Corporation.
The Vermeer FINAL CUT Feed Chopper (designed to work exclusively on Vermeer BP8000 Bale Processors) chops long, course, stringy, frozen or wet material to a shorter cut length - typically 3" or less - for better utilization in livestock feeding and bedding.
A new wide-swath, center-pivot trailed mower that's easy-to-operate and designed for high-production cutting, using low hp tractors, is now available from Vermeer Corporation.
The heavy-built TM1200 Trailed Mower features a center pivot design with two (2) independent, staggered cutterbars that cut 15' 6" wide (4.7 m) - almost 2' 5" wider (.76 m) than any other trailed mower in the field. Staggered cutterbar design ensures accurate and complete cutting action in the center of the swath; maximum swath width is 87% of the cutting width* for quick, uniform dry down.
With enhanced engine horsepower, an available 120-foot boom and an optional luxury cab, the new Case IH Patriot® 3330 sprayer takes the iconic performance of previous Case IH Patriot sprayers and adds a new level of power and productivity.
